Photo face matching is included with every QuTime plan and compares each photo only against workers who have enrolled their face and given consent.

Workers record attendance at the shared tablet. Where your organization allows it, a worker ID and personal PIN can provide an alternative way to clock in.

Face matching helps confirm who is at the tablet. On Professional+, enabled liveness adds resistance to attempts using a photo or video.
How it works
Start at the shared tablet
The worker goes to the attendance point and starts a clock-in or clock-out on the paired tablet.
Complete the face check
The front camera captures a photo and compares it only with enrolled, consenting workers. Professional+ also runs liveness when the organization enables it.
Record the attendance result
After the check succeeds, QuTime records the attendance action and shows the result on the tablet.
How to set it up
Prepare the location and workers
Create the work location and confirm that participating workers have enrolled their face and given consent.
Add the tablet in web admin
An administrator adds the kiosk device, assigns its work location, and creates the pairing code.
Pair a compatible tablet
Install a supported QuTime app on a compatible iPad or Android tablet, open kiosk mode, and enter the pairing code.
Choose the attendance controls
Decide whether the tablet must verify its assigned location and whether workers may use a personal PIN under your organization’s policy.
Place and power the tablet
Position it at the attendance point with the front camera accessible, continuous power, and stable Wi-Fi.
Test before staff use it
An administrator tests pairing, face matching, the assigned location, and optional PIN access before rollout.

Enrollment and consent first
Face matching includes only workers who have enrolled their face and given consent. Other workers are not included in the face-matching pool.
