Find your BambooHR subdomain
It's the X in https://X.bamboohr.com — for example if your team uses 'acme.bamboohr.com' the subdomain is 'acme'.
Generate a BambooHR API key
Inside BambooHR: My Info → API Keys → Add new key. Scope to "All employees" for full sync, or to a single department to start small.
Connect in your organization admin
Settings → Integrations → Connectors → BambooHR → Connect. Paste subdomain + API key. SVDY validates the credentials and pulls a sample roster for you to confirm.
Confirm the department mapping
BambooHR's departments are mapped to SVDY departments based on name. Edit any mismatches before the first full sync runs.
